- I was over Ocean and Neo. Honestly the only couple. That I really care about. Was Winter and Boss. Because, truthfully they had more layers to their story. I also, wished the author. Would of went into more depth. Regarding Carmen, finally involving the detectives. She straight bypassed, all of that. And, in relation to Boss’s father. That fact that they never. Had any type of further interaction, or final good bye. I would of loved to have seen that. I felt like Ocean and Neo’s issues were trivial. And ultimately, Ocean was doing entirely too much. I felt like there were a-lot of unresolved plots. And it felt rushed to be honest.

- It was decent but it's kinda dragging, i really don't know what's the point of the book now, i love winter and Cortez together she needs to tell him about her tied tubes before kiondra finds out and tells him. Im glad Camilla found out about dewayne and julius and she finally realizes that winter was telling the truth the whole time, juju was not even in this book even tho she had a big part in part 1, this book is almost 2 stories going on at once. I get ocean hurt behind neo but it happened years ago and at the end of thr day she's a pregnant woman, i hope neo will be ok and this brings them back together, im glad he checked tiana, im sick of her already, i hope he don't end up with her. The book pretty much dragged which made it a little boring, hopefully part 2 will be a little better.
- I am loving this series so much for so many reasons and even though I am disappointed at Neo I don't want him to die and not get to meet his son and get his daughter from the wench. Winter girl now ya know dayum well ya dead wrong not telling Boss what's up ya gonna lose a good one playing the need to know game. Camille, ya need to get ya badge because ya surely cracked that case wide open. Julius and Thomas Russell need to get put under the jail with their sweet cheeks!!! I am excited to see Juju get dragged as well as how this all plays out. Excellent job Diamond Johnson as always! Ya'll don't let this banger not be on ya and ya gonna miss out on a good azz read!!!
- Mannnnnnn as always that ending was epicccccccc. Why I have a feeling that Cortez is going to find out that Winter got her tubes tied and it's going to cause a rift in there relationship, she should have just told him when she had the chance. Neo and Ocean situation is sad because they both love earth other to death but they both just stubborn, I just hope that he's okay and they get to bring this baby boy into the world. I'm glad they found out about Dwayane and Julius because they went through the extreme just to be together and it wasn't necessary. So ready for part 3 great damn read Diamond
- Omg I knew Neo was gone get in an accident and he die Ocean is going to be sick and regret everything. She shouldn't be telling all her busn anyway. I like Winter & Cortez together and cant wait to read more.
- I hope Neo is ok, Ocean why the hell are you telling that man you and your husband business smh. Winter should have told boss she can't have no more kids. I'm glad Camilla busted Dwayne and his man
- Part 2 was really my speed. I feel so bad for Ocean. I know she is hurting. New is getting exactly what he deserves. I don’t k ow if they will end up together or if he will survive but the kind of hurt he dished out will take a life time to heal. Dewayne has finally been found out. I sympathized with him a little bit as he was unable to be himself but the way he did Winter and totally disregarded his children with her took all the sympathy away. Cortez is truly a boss in every way. I hope he can rock with Winter even if she can’t have his babies. Ready for more!
