• We all loved it Mr. Parris! I read it to the kids in English, then my wife, a native Spanish speaker, reads it to them in Spanish.
  The kids loved the little twist at the end as it caught them by surprise. I think my wife and I get as much pleasure out of the Charlie Parris books as the kids do. We love to see the smiles on their faces from the beautiful illustrations and the looks if anticipation as each page is turned. The rhyming just makes them all the more fun. Yet another Charlie Parris winner in the May household.
• The Author is very British, but I like the word keen. We just don't use it much in the US.
  I read both in Spanish and in English and enjoyed the word-play in both languages very much.
• Horrible translations into Spanish!
• I enjoyed the book and love the audio - especially the British accent. I think children need to get to hear a variety of accent. A nice way of introducing different people into their world. Thank you!
